My brother in-law (Serafion), died of Bone Cancer a week before my mastectomy, and I have been suffering from joint pains for quite sometime.

It made us all worried that the breast cancer may have spread or mestastasied to the bone.

 

However, my surgical oncologist informed us that there is no sign that I have bone cancer. My

Breast ca. for staging

 

 

A Tc-99m MDP whole body scan was performed. No prior bone scan available for comparison

Radiotracer uptake suggestive of mild degenerative changes is seen in the shoulders, hips, knees and feet. No significant tracer update is noted elsewhere.

The liver is of normal size and echogenicity. No focal hepatic mass is seen. The gallbladder wall is not thickened and no gallstone is seen. The common duct is not dilated and measures 0.3 cm in calibre.

 

The spleen is of normal size and echonenicity, measuring 9cm in length. Both kidneys are normal, measuring 11.1 cm on the right and 11.5 cm on the left in length. The visualized pancrease is unremarkable.

 

Conclusion

Unremarkable ultrasound study of hepatobiliary system

 

 

 

The heart appears enlarged. No lung lession seen  (A Heart scan was ordered by my Surgical Oncologist on March 10th).
