Working Out

Posted Oct 16 2008 3:56pm
I have over come my issues with new new treadmill and walked for 10 mins and did .25 mile! I do need to get some silicone spray to even it out a little, but it is definitely a good workout for me! I wore my AFO brace today, the last time I tried it I wore the other new brace and was fine. With the AFO brace my toes curled a bit, but I need to learn how to relax my foot while wearing the brace, which is why I wore it today. When I walk a lot and/or carry things my foot cramps and the longer my foot stays cramped the harder my leg muscles work and so I end up exhausted and sore by the end of the day. If I can relax my foot more I will be able to up my endurance level, my stamina. I realized this yesterday when I was shopping. When my foot cramps I need to take a moment to relax it, if possible, and then continue. If I can do that my leg doesn't cramp and I don't get sore.

I have been productive the past couple days, cleaning and exercising. Plus, when I got the treadmill and was putting it together I snapped a wire that connects to the monitor that is attached to the belt so it tracks distance. I was able to reconnect the wires and now the monitor works! Wiring is not that hard, as long as no electricity is involved! I once wired a light bulb too! For a film shoot I worked on!
