When I first started weening off Lexapro I had withdrawal symptoms similar to that of nicotine withdrawal. A few weeks in and now that feeling is gone but I have been getting a dizzy sensation, or maybe vertigo, not quite sure which. Yesterday I was playing rockband, having a great time and suddenly I felt like I was falling off my throne. I shook it off, but the rest of the time I kept playing I felt kinda dizzy. Later that day I rode my exercise bike and again had similar sensations, not as dramatic as I had experienced before, but still. I am wondering if it is a side effect of weening off the Lexapro. I think it is quite possible. I was supposed to have an appointment with my neurologist tomorrow but my insurance expired on the 30th and I haven't sent in the paperwork for cobra because I am waiting for my unemployment check so they wanted me to pay cash for the appointment so I cancelled. They rescheduled me but the earliest they could reschedule was mid June, I am going to get a new neuro doc, but the fact remains that at the point in time I do not have insurance until I send in the cobra paperwork. So for now I am just trying to be careful, not putting myself into any position that could harm myself or anyone else if something were to happen because of the dizziness. Now I am working on Wednesday which means I have to drive to and from work, but the thing is I tend to do better when I am working, its when I am sitting at home doing nothing that I am at my worst. I have been working hard to get myself into shape to be able to handle the job on Wednesday and hopefully it will do me well. Plus I have a photo shoot Thursday and Friday. I am trying not to let the dizziness get to me because I always get paranoid when it gets to be this close to when I am suppose to have my next MRI which is due in June, if of course I get my cobra paperwork taken care of.
