My early thirties were busy years for me--I was working on a degree, raising two kids, and working a full time job. So, I would often get wired and by the time I got to bed, I could not sleep.
At that time, I found, that reading an accounting textbook would often send me off into dreamland.
Now, my life is just as hectic, although in other ways, and instead of finding my girls and sitting on the nearest bar stools - it seems that a potent sleeping pill is watching a good ole Presidential debate.
After all, the questions are stupid, the answers predictable, and a surprise never comes out of the box (or the mouth of Obama, either). So, what's say we go get a big TV, a large sofa and a bowl of chips and find a reason for sleeping - right in our own living rooms.
