What does it mean when the Dr says after a brain cat scan this usuually shows in older brains

I have been suffering with some mental issues lately that are not typically me. Panic and anxiety attacks and a feeling of not in control. I had a brain cat scan and my Dr said what was confusing is some of what she saw is usually in older brains. I am 49 I have an MRI and an EEG tomorrow
