Tuesday's Tribute

Have you ever felt alone? Ever felt like everyone is only concerned with their own life issues? If we were honest we have all had days where we have felt that way...
Before I even started a blog I spent a LONG afternoon reading someones blog name Meaghan. I remember thinking wow..how can anyone go through what she did and handle it so well. I was and still am in awe of her strength.
I have to shake my head..because life sure does have a way ..huh? A few months later..I was facing a very scary time..and I remembered Meaghan. I tried to remind myself that I also could be strong like Meaghan. And there started a friendship.
Yes I wanted to tell you how wonderful and strong Meaghan is and how she inspired me to dig deep and fight. But there is something else. Meaghan has not just fought her battle and moved on. She has not forgotten about all of us who are still fighting . She has started a wonderful program called Spirit Jump. This is my reminder that I am NOT alone. There are wonderful people out there who care about others in the world ...
Spirit Jump has made some of my hardest days brighter. There have been days that I have driven up from treatment and see a box...what a true blessing. There have been cards and a beautiful angel for my key chain..a willow angel..a purse...a necklace ...and on and on..I have been so very blessed by Spirit Jump. I will never forget the wonderful kindness of everyone who donates.
Another things that Spirit Jump has done is send gifts to Philip. He received a tag blanket that our whole family fights over. We LOVE it.
One thing I know for sure is my blog family is filled with wonderful giving ladies and yes a few wonderful men. Please go visit Spirit Jump and join their raffle. And maybe even more special...bless someone who is driving up from a DR appt or treatment with a card or a gift. I can tell you from my heart. It has been the best medicine...
Thank you... SPIRIT JUMP.
