True -Right – Correct

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” _ Philippians 4:8-9(NIV)

Mind of the Tiger Lady is back! I’ve decided to update a strong content that means a lot to me and possible to you that is maybe “old school” like me. Actually it’s “True, Right and correct.”  You know what I might be talking about here? Obedience! Discipline!

I first learned true discipline and obedience from my great grandmother in the home and you know and I know growing up in a strict home back then, we had to comply with the house rules and obey your adults. “Show your manners!”

The martial arts discipline was a way of living, I wanted to be more of a “human being” and “not” just a “person.” You know what I am saying here?  As a human I believe that you can forget self and serve others in love. I tell you I’ve been wrong before and knocked down a few times. You made many wrong choices in your life; everything is subject to change right? Look at us! Look at society today! Good or bad is our choice. You are more likely to strike out or lose patience when angry or afraid than when you are calm and self-assured.

True – Right – correct

Breaking old thought patterns takes a commitment and discipline, everything changes!

Nothing will stay the same, you must move with time, commitment, determination.
