My father-in-law has recently been diagnosed with bulbar palsy and it breaks my heart to see a man, who just six months ago helped me install light fixtures and weed our yard and who was always blessed with the gift of conversation, lose his abilty to speek and eat (which invariably will lead to the loss of his will to live.) I understand that it has been probably coming on for a while, and that he might not have much time left. I was just wondering if there was any treatment(s) to help him, if not prolong his life, lessen his suffering. Any advice would be appreciated.
