Thinking Of Billie

Posted Nov 09 2012 10:06pm
I know!! I know!! That's not the popular phrase most are use to hearing. But who are most? They sure aren't like most of my friends that have hydrocephalus. We sleep crazy. Yes that is right. Crazy!!! I will sleep 2 hours one night and 12 hours the next. I often wake up at all hours of the night many times. Smoky has been helping in this effort lately. Except for last night he did pretty good. I often wake up and grab my phone to see who of all of my hydro peeps are awake. In the recent devastation of hurricane Sandy I have not talked talked to one of my close hydro sisters very much. I have been very worried about her. I sent a message. I'm not sure if she ever got it. I begged her to pace herself. I knew she could only go a few hours at a time and she would have to lay down and sleep. See she is just a few months post op... And I can't get hold of her!! I would get these updates on facebook. I got to tell you I'm talking about my friend Billie Jo Lear. Please say a prayer for my sweet friend and hydro sisters. She pushed herself through her pain to help those needing food, water, clothes . I admire this woman so much. She did not let her hydtocephalus stop her from helping people in need. I know we have a lot of heros during a time like this but it would have been so easy for her to say she just had surgery and could not help. She was so tired this morning she was falling asleep at her computer.
