I was just discussing this topic yesterday with a new friend. The Michael J Fox Show and how we didn't care for it. She didn't give it two weeks. I didn't give it three. But, it seems we may have to give it another chance.
I love MJF, being a fan since Back to the Future – all of them – and Family Ties, Doc Hollywood, and more. I think he is quick witted, extremely funny and bright. But, the show wasn't what I expected. Come to find out by a post made on Facebook by another person with PD, my friend and I were not the only ones who felt that way.
Here are some 'reviews' (responses to the post mentioined above):
—_”I was less than enthralled with the first couple of episodes as well, but think the series has begun to hit its stride. I'm getting to know and like the characters, and there have been some great Parkie moments!”
—-'it took more than two, to get me interested too, But I hung with it, Glad I did.”
—-”I've since had my satisfaction restored and credit MJF with the glaring fact that he was able to return at all. I am reminded daily by my own health. Just looking inward and MJF restores my hope and provides unique inspiration.
There were more, very similar to those above. So, if you were one of those like me, you may want to give it another shot. I'm going to.
