Television Ain't Black And White No More- It's Color and the Color is Green!

Posted Oct 10 2010 12:10pm
It began in the music industry- the idea of green packaging, I mean.  But, then it spread to tv- tv packaging for those games.

Games called ps3 games - and in it's own little way that's how lcd television turned green.

Let's face it, in a lot of ways, television is just not very eco-friendly.  The tv uses a lot of energy.  If the user doesn't install a power strip, stand by power is sucked up even when the box is turned off- but we can make the television experience a little more green by utilizing packaging that is made of mixed sources when we get our games, or anything else we want to use that will light up that screen.

Probably most people who read their news, and watch shows in television never experienced black and white tv.  And, those of us who have would have never thought that the world we live in would someday be illuminated by the brilliant and colorful worlds that these new mediums bring to us, through the power of TV.
