Ted Kennedy Dies at 77 - Brain Cancer
Posted Aug 26 2009 10:35pm
When I first became aware that Senator Kennedy had suffered what was at first thought to be a stroke last May, I was stunned.
But, as the day progressed and the news related that his medical event had been a seizure I had a feeling that a tumor would be diagnosed.
That is how I was diagnosed. A seizure. CT Scan. MRI. Opinions. Diagnosis. Surgery.
I was lucky. My tumor was a large benign meningioma located on the left occipital lobe. I have recuperated.
The Lion of the Senate is gone. But, the dream lives on.
