While I work on my summary of my recent adventure to the west coast, I thought I might introduce you to a very special lady..my mom, Becky. I missed her alot while I was gone on my trip and was glad to get home and get a big hug from her!
I’d like you to pray for my mom’s health…she is currently battling bone/liver cancer, and I love her so much I could never find the right words, but she was, is, and always will be the woman I look to know I am special in her eyes and in God’s eyes too! Anything good in me came from her.

If you have ever spoken to me, I hope you know one of the most special people in my life is my mom (ok, I still call her momma lots of times). Several times I have thought about writing about her. I saw the following survey on Facebook. It was indended for a mom to ask her younger children the questions and record their responses, but I just filled it in. (I’m big enough to do that now)… so here ya go…like I said in one spot below, my mom is so special I could never adequately describe how much she means to me, but I know this: I am the luckiest girl in the world to have my mom!
I’m on a trip for a week and miss all my family, but especially mom! Hi mom—I’m blowing you kisses from Oregon right now, and don’t worry, I”m having a good time and staying out of trouble (well at least so far….but don’t worry! please, and I’ll call you when I get to California)
You may be thinking what has this got to do with Parkinson’s? Well my mom is my biggest encouragement to me along this path, and I’d just like everyone else to know how blessed I am in that regard, as well as many others!
love to hear about any other special mom’s out there! So comment or send me a note or something about yours!
