Self Acceptance

Self Acceptance

“Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Esteem her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will set a garland of grace on your head and present you with a crown of splendor.”  Proverb 4:7-9

To let you know I had experienced “self – indignity”  just constantly putting myself down, striking at myself, only to see self – doubt creeping up at me each day. Feeling deficient, like a virus had took over my life.

In my head I could hear the voices of coaches and martial art instructors talk to me about “you need to know yourself and begin to forgive yourself.” Knowing it is a beginning of self acceptance, one thing is you won’t have to compare yourself or judge yourself. Self Acceptance is powerful!

Believe me, you can actually become motivated and inspired for changes in your life, hell! You can probably see improvements, I did! Do you believe this is a new beginning of self acceptance? How do you accept yourself?

Remember, you are not the same person you were last year 2011. You have no time to criticize yourself this New Year 2012, it is the time to have the courage to stop hurting yourself with criticism and be inspired, work your goals and plan ahead. These are the life lessons that I am learning today. No matter who you are, you must take care of yourself. Decide today to be strong within, know yourself, challenge yourself with love, self acceptance, be willing and know God’s plans for you. Just be victorious!
