The big news today in the environmental world is a new study accomplished by two New Zealanders stating that cats and dogs are worst for the environment than those big SUV's that the majority of the 'could care less about the environment' citizens of my city are still driving.
Of course, that had to be on course. There has been lots of talk already about the bovine effect on the atmosphere. Their bovine belches have made headlines- but when it comes to jumping on cats and dogs- well there are way too many cat and dog lovers to let that go across cyberland.
One woman blasted the study stating that she would not want to live in a world without cats and dogs.
Frankly, I am with her. Living in a world without SUV's is just fine with me - and if those who will not see could get their act together and begin to understand that we need to design cities that are walkable, station more local food, and find better and easier ways to recycle then we would begin to walk into the future.
Becoming a vegetarian might help too, because the study also stated that it wasn't just cats and dogs that were adding their 'pawprints' to our climate change- it was also hamsters and rabbits, and even hens!
But, it was said their was a very good option for the latter two. They were just great provided you ate them!!!!!
