Parents are frustrated with "the system" who expects him to remain in the home and will not pay for out-of-home placement. He was abused by a male when he was younger and has had behavior and school problems for a long time. He has also been diagnosed with a brain disorder, will not respect parental authority or limits and has sexually abused his 5 year old sister who is frightened of him and hasn't slept well in 9 months since it happened. His therapist has suggested cognitive behavioral therapy, but it appears not to be available locally. They live in Illinois but the largest city nearby is Indianapolis, IN. Parents cannot afford $100,000 a year for only program they've found - only make 1/3 of that. Parents are concerned, educated, and compassionate but can't keep up the pace he keeps them on and he will no accept reasonable limits. They are concerned for the safety and comfort of their other children also. Any suggestions?
