One Parkinson’s Patient’s Dream Day/Week Schedule

  • Wake up, pop meds and if they start working well within 15 minutes….check out email and blog sites while waiting
  • Hit the hot tub and then the shower, clean-up and dress up (with assistance if necessary, from the best personal assistant available)
  • Eat breakfast provided by personal chef
  • Attend to appointments via chauffered vehicle

  • ….this day to see personal accountant and get a good report on balance sheet and investments.

  • ….to massage 3 days a week….accupuncturist once a week, and yoga twice a week

  • …groceries delivered after all I do is provide a list on Monday, any doctor appointments on Tues, psycologist on Weds., spiritual support leader on Thurs, and PD conference calls on Friday

  • …and if other things need to be worked in before lunch the Personal Assistant. will let you know…

  • …Lunch on Monday with mom, Tuesday with friend from church, Weds with a PD friend, Thursday with a young student you are mentoring, and Friday with the hubby :)

  • …After lunch a short nap, then

  • ….exercise with the most fun stuff….do Wii at least 3 days a week, go to boxing gym once a week, go to dancing studio once a week, and do water aquadics once a week, and tai chi

  • …followup on projects and kid’s stuff or activities (homework, soccer, etc.)
  • …blog a bit after Bible study

  • …select items for supper to be prepared by chef at home

  • …greet hubby home, update him, allow him some time, eat together, research PD treatments, meds, options together, , look lovinly in his eyes and give the raised eyebrow signal for fun or the pitiful puppy dog look for “i;m tired and just going to bed”.

  • …tuck kids in

  • …pray for peace love and a cure for PD an all the chronic illnesses in the world

  • …recount the day and find at least one blessing and put it in your journal

  • …get at least 8 hours sleep and start again….

LOL…well I can always DREAM!
