In the past 6 months, I had 2 seizures. I was taken to the ER and tests were done and all came back normal. The doctor wasnt sure what caused the seizure and thought it might have something to do with the medication i am taking which is Ultram. He explained that some of the side effects were seizures. I was told to follow up with my primary care doctor and to get a referral to see the nuerologist. In the meantime, I was reading the reports from the CT scan they did and noticed that it said there was early stages of calcification on the basal ganglia. What exactly does this mean?
About 30 years ago, i did have a siezure and was told that it was stress related ( at the time i was getting a divorce and just lost my mother). I havnt been stressed about anything but have noticed i have been having panick attacks, which i have never had before and dont understand what would be causing them.
so what does it mean to have early findings of calcification on the basal ganglia"
