Today was the last physical therapy appointment, unless the insurance company allows me to continue. My NS is sending a letter to the insurance company requesting an extension, but they might not allow it. So that means I need to get off my ass and do my exercises on my own! I found an ankle brace that gives me a little more support so I am more comfortable at work and am able to carry things better and with better balance. Lets just hope I get a job soon! I really need to put the word out there.
Had work on the web show after physical therapy today. It was easy and fun. Afterwards we went to dinner and then out for drinks. I didn't have to pay for a thing, I love it! It was fun, but this time there were a few times when I felt like I was being left out, or didn't belong. It was ok, I think it was just me over thinking things. And I did notice at dinner that someone else was feeling the same way. But for the most part, I had a good time. I did have to make sure a friend didn't drive home, she had too much to drink. While she was on the phone with someone I took her keys and gave them to someone who rode with someone else and could drive the car so she would be safe, she was really determined to leave. I also get to play designated driver on monday, St Patricks Day. Should be fun, they want to do a pub crawl, and we will be filming stuff for the web show.
I spent most of the day yesterday trying to make some T-shirts. They say "BRAIN TUMORS SUCK!" With a "smiley face" with a mad look and a thumbs down and on the back it says "support brain tumor research www.abta.org www.braintumor.org I tried to make one but I didn't iron it on right. Plus I picked grey T-shirts and used regular iron-on transfer paper when I should use dark iron-on transfer paper (the smiley didn't show up very well.) I showed what I had to everyone at work today and got positive feedback, so this weekend I am going to try to get at least one shirt made, I already wasted two!
