You can try neurofeedback, to teach the brain not to produce the seizure-causing activity or to be more "stable" -- harder to "push over" into seizure activity. You may be able to avoid medications OR you may just be able to reduce the amount and number of medications required to control the seizures.
It is important to prevent seizures happening, though, so don't wait too long on either.
