Recently, I sent out an email blast to friend and foe alike about the coming GreenFEST that Waynedale Green Alliance is hosting along with Southwest Conservation Club here in Fort Wayne to benefit Community Harvest.
I was dismayed to receive an email from my old pal, Dick Small, saying he might not be able to make since he lived so far away. I am sure he was afraid he might fall into a bunch of spider traps if he walked all the way from the Empire State to the Hoosier State. And, the possibility of being run over by a train is also part of any traveling scenario.
But, then, I have a lot of faith in Dick Small. If he wants to make a trip to Indiana, I just bet he could do it!
