I had fashioned 35 ways to market the concept; workshops, classes, business seminars, an advertising booklet, a workbook for kids, flash cards, coloring books, games were just a few of the ways I wanted to use the idea.
When I came into contact with Franks we discussed the Green ABC's and it was his opinion that a flash card set might be the best way to enter the market. Now, that put the Green ABC's in a different category. Now, we would need to know who would buy this type of product, how we would produce it, and how to develop it. We would need to set up a platform to use as a marketing anchor.
WE had been in contact with the Innovation Center for two months by the time the New Year rolled around last year and we were ready to accept an Entrepreneurial Award from them to accelerate the growth of the Green ABC's. I was on the look-out for 1) a web designer 2) a graphic designer and 3) money.
None of this came easy- but we did get extremely lucky in one out of the three. That will be tomorrow's post!
