I posted Obermann's special comment video because I admire his bravery and the way he has stepped forward to state the views that many of us are now beginning to voice ourselves. We reflected yesterday upon a day of great horror and loss for our country. Today, we must go forward, with strong hearts, and brave souls, and never forget what happened that day-but also we should never forget, where we, as Americans, came from. Our legacy lies in a place of freedom and strong will. The Founding Fathers, the men who fought and died-yet put the Union back together during the Civil War, those who went forward during WWI and came back triumphant. Our men and women who made a patriotic statement and won freedom again during WWII. Korea, Vietnam--some may think we lost in some ways-but our country and those who fight for it , their legacy still stands strong. We are Americans. Those who seek to destroy us should never forget that. And neither should we.
