Hunger: UN Food Crisis Summit in Rome

There is nothing more degrading than hunger, especially when it is man-made.

He also spoke of the 100,000,000 (one hundred million) persons globally suffering from hunger.

He said food production will need to increase by 50% by 2050 to keep up with need.

And he requested that nations who are limiting exports (to protect their own economies) should stop doing so, as this mechanism only serves to artificially increase food prices.

We are all one ... as long as one of us suffers, we all suffer.
