All of the candidates in America support poverty, Democatic or Republican. It's just a matter of semantics.
Recently, on Chris Matthews, one of the talking heads stated that pretty soon another quarter will be showing how much money the candidates have brought in. His next line said it all, " This amount will show who will be in the running and who will drop out."
NEW YORK (Reuters) - Billionaire investor Warren Buffett used his business clout and folksy wisdom to raise $1 million for Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton on Tuesday, telling big donors that Democrats are better than Republicans at taking care of the less fortunate.
Buffett has said he admires both Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama and could support either one. He mentioned neither by name as he regaled listeners in the New York event billed as "A Conversation with Hillary Clinton and Warren Buffett."
While I do agree that Democrats are better than the Repubs at working with human rights challenges in America - I really find it a contradiction in terms to have Warren Buffet raise a million bucks for Hillary to be elected as Prez - so that the "unfortunate" can be elevated to a liveable standard of existence.
