I ask myself the question everyday, “How can I make a difference in the future for people with Parkinson’s Disease?”
Well, there is one very easy way to make a meaningful difference. Become educated about the public policies that are being made RIGHT NOW and make your voice heard to the members of Congress who may NOT have all the information to make those decisions. Become informed about the current research that is being conducted to find a cure for this terrible disease.
How do I do those things? Well, the BEST way is to attend the PARKINSON’S ACTION NETWORK 16TH ANNUAL RESEARCH AND PUBLIC POLICY FORUM in Washington, D.C. on February 17, 2010. Oh, but I CAN’T travel to Washington, D.C!!!! Well, guess what? You don’t HAVE to travel to the conference. You can participate by viewing the conference in the comfort of your own home, on your computer.
