Holiday Weight Gain

Posted Nov 15 2010 8:24am
Holiday time is a rough time of year for everyone who is trying to watch their weight.  Which is probably everyone.  If you are one of those people who don't have to worry about weight- how lucky!  And, I also know there are many people who work very hard to keep their weight down- exercising regularly, eating the 'right' foods, drinking lots of water.- all the many things people know they need to do to keep healthy and in good shape.

Irregardless of what the top ten diet pills may be many people just want the weight to come off naturally, or they get tired of the battle and decide they will always be overweight.  I remember talking to one woman one time who told me that she had lost 100 lbs and to never let anyone tell me that age slows down your metabolism.

Well, anyone will whether I like it or not.  Weight is a challenge for so many people, and this time of year makes it even harder.

One tip:  Eat before you go to holiday dinners- then just have small portions of a goodie or two.  You won't be hungry and you probably won't feel deprived.-- well maybe you won't
