Segways are those two wheeled motorized vehicles (?) you see Ellen and various celebrities riding around on. Apparently, they are the next big thing in dealing with the challenges of 4buck a gallon gas prices.
Well, I cart around two little grandsons on a daily basis and can't see me with a motorcycle with a side car, or a Segway built for three, so had to get a Chevy Classic. I imagine it will do better than my beloved Chrysler Sebring convertible.
But, I will never love it as much.
Some people don't understand the attachment one can get to a car- for them cars are simply a means to an end. For me, some of the cars I have owned have been symbolic of who I was at the time, or what kind of person I had imagined I would always be.
Convertibles are full of freedom and youth- the fact that this particular one had had its day was a sad one for me. But, life goes on- but not with the wind in my hair.
