Do i need to be doing something different for my symptoms than what i am doing.

I had a stroke 3 weeks ago that seemed to have very little effect on my body, numbness, tingling, very slight weakness the entire left side. All they did for me in the hospital was increase my BP medication but i am still having numbness and tingling in my left side. I am also diabetic, type 2, controled with metformin and januvia and taking a statin, as well as 20 mg of lisinopril twice a day for the BP.

it is bothering me that my physical symptoms don't really seem to be going away. i am walking 5 miles a day as well. is there someting else i can/should be doing? I am on the road and have consulted with my primary physician but he is hard to get hold of and only suggested i have a different type of echo cardiagram to rule out the hole in the heart issue, nothing more on current symptoms.
