Can urinary tract infection dementia be reversed by medication?

If there are mental changes caused by the urinary infection, and you treat the urinary infection (antibiotics) and clear it up, the mental status changes should also clear up. If the dementia is from something else, for example Alzheimer's, treating the UTI is still important but it will not cure the demenita.
