Brain granuloma, is it curable?

Posted by Talukk

Hi! My nephew (12 years) suffers from frequent headache (say for once in fortnight) that goes off automatically within an hour or so without any medication. CT scan of brain showed "nodular & ring like enhancing lesion in right frontal lobe - granuloma". Otherwise he is a healthy & absolutely normal boy.

Please advise if it is a cause of worry. If it would aggravate as he grows? Is it completely curable?

Thanks & regards

Granulomas are found where fungus or bacteria have invaded the body. Nearly everyone has one somewhere. Some are mistaken for cancer and are harmless and granulomas are generally not a cause for concern.
