I read about this new leg brace that they are currently testing that is kinda bionic, it uses sensors and stuff to read what the person wearing it is trying to do, like stand up, sit down, walk up stairs, walk downstairs, etc... and it helps facilitate that movement and they are using this brace to treat people who have had strokes or knee surgery or brain injuries and it is working miracles. It is from a company called Tibion and its called the Tibion PK100 and its battery operated and can be adjusted to fit multiple people so its great for physical therapy clinics. There is no pricing on the website, but I am going to bring it up to my PT next time I go in, I may even print out the page on it, to show how great it is, I am sure they get a lot of knee injuries there, maybe not a lot of stroke patients, but knee injuries maybe, it might be worth it for one of the Motion Picture Clinics to get one! There is no way I would ever be able to afford one on my own! The clinic that was using it was in San Francisco, not going there, but we'll see what I can do to get one here!
