Several years ago I read a report that stated that more than half of the health care costs in America were due to administrative costs rather than those of the real doctoring, nursing and testing that actually takes place with a real live patient.
In my estimation true health care jobs are done by those who are helping our mothers, fathers, sons and daughters, and sisters and brothers get well and stay well.
Not those who decide whether or not we get health care, fill out claim forms, and send out inadequate billing statements.
Health care jobs will always be a necessity, but it's important to define the term.
How would you define healthcare jobs?
