Article of Interest

While visiting my good friend Judy back in Tennessee a few years back (has it been that long?!?), through her I was introduced and privileged to have enjoyed dinner with Peggy Willocks. Many of you may know Peggy through Facebook contacts, clinical trial news, etc. Peggy is a strong advocate for PD and is a beautiful woman, inside and out.

She sent me a link to a very interesting study she participated in which I thought others may find of interest as well.

I want to take the opportunity to thank Peggy for the advocacy she involves herself in currently and in the past and for the studies/trials she has chosen to participate in – not for the sake of her betterment – but for others. She has the disease, but the strong impression I received from her when I met her is, she doesn’t do these things for her sake, but because she knows what the disease is like and participates in them for the sake of all.

Thank you Peggy. You’re an inspiration to so very many, in so very many ways. Keep smiling. You have a beautiful one.

Enjoy the article. Click to read.
