And Another Thing - About Office Furniture-And smoking bans

I always thought that office desks were kind of weird.
In the early days of my career (again not telling when) the desks I had resembled school desks, and were littered with phones and ashtrays. Yes, in those days smoking was still allowed in offices. People even smoked cigars and pipes. That was usually the gagging part for most other people.
Office workers would congregate around various vending machines and talk about Arts smelly cigars or the great scent of a certain pipe.
That was then, this is now- a time when a whole city can no longer smoke, not even in bars and taverns.
Now, I no longer smoke, but I still don't think I have the right to tell other people what to do with a legal drug. Yes, they stink and make people cough, and cause other health problems - but hey booze can be a hazard too, and people go to bars and taverns to lift a few, don't they?
I don't know- I guess in a small way, I still thought this was America.
