I got approval for my new AFO brace and today at the foot doc they took a cast of my foot and leg and I will have the brace in 2-3 weeks! Until then the doc wants me to wear the brace he gave me along with the orthotics. I am ok with that, I feel much safer wearing it. I just need to make sure that I do some exercises with my foot so that it can get stronger.
I got a call today from the hospital where I had the Gamma Knife procedure. They want to interview me on camera about my Gamma Knife experience! Interesting, it hasn't even been a year, but I did have a tumor that was very aggressive that since the procedure has stopped growing. They are going to call me to let me know when they want to do the interview, I think its for one of those videos promoting Gamma Knife.
I got a headache again this evening. Its not too bad, but I did take some advil and it didn't help. Again I am thinking sinuses. I am going to start doing the neti pot everyday and if that doesn't help I will go to see an ENT doc again.
Still trying to get used to the new higher doseage of Keppra. It makes me feel out of it, probably the drowsiness side effect. I am sure it will pass soon.
