A Lovely Respite from Parkinson’s Disease

Posted Apr 21 2010 9:42am

When PD becomes too much for me – I go to the bench in my backyard and listen to the waterfall in the pond.  I know I’m fortunate to have this private space, this respite from the evil disease.  It’s become too much for me to maintain, so alas, in the near future I’ll be selling this property to downsize to something smaller.  I’ve had to hire wonderful people to maintain this backyard space….it’s too much for me to handle now.  But I did want to share some of the beautiful pictures of my “close to heaven” respite.
