“The Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I
fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalms
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
The mind of the Tiger Lady is back! It is the 09th day of January 2012 updating “A Journey.” I’d like to share whenever you’re struggling on your journey it should not have to drag you alone the way. You must be willing to push forward to finish.
Making a change in life you sometimes just go with the flow of things and have to forget there is pain inside that you carry and facing it alone is like another game that’s played, it can be beaten.
I can tell you it’s time to overcome the obstacles in your life and step out in faith! I use to think of my weaknesses and inabilities were wrong for other people’s availabilities of time with me. Do you understand what I mean? The temptation was to run from the problem and take the journey as far as I can go.
When you begin your journey, sometimes you get clustered up inside, knowing each step you take is all new. I know, I was taught to be “patient” with myself. Be patient on your journey of growth and circumstances.
Staying strong in adversity is having the courage to continue doing and not giving up! Show your fear, but you better NOT give up! I use to hear these words “YOU BETTER NOT GIVE UP!”
As a teenage girl, I planned to become policewoman, military police, or a professional fighter. The courage to lead! “Authority figure” I wanted to do what was true, right and correct; as they say to stand between good and evil. Such a dream! Instead I became a Loss prevention officer,Corrections, and pro boxer. What more can I ask for? Some of you may know what I am saying. What’s past is past!
Today, it’s good to enjoy this journey. I am now learning a lot about myself and my “invisible disability” and now setting a high standard for myself. Believe me, you can go all the way and not give up! Be determined in everything you do right now and hang with the positive people who will encourage you through the hard times of your journey.
Remember this: Always believe the truth about yourself each day. This was my problem; I had a hard time believing in ME! But I do know this, you can always learn from the wisdom of others, because you and I are not alone on this journey facing our trails and errors. It is a must to build true character, mind and body.
It is much better to create situation where everybody wins! No matter whom you are and what you do, you will always believe you need a strong mind and body to meet life’s challenges in a successful way. Soaring high with the Tiger Lady 2012!
