2nd Annual NW Huntington's Disease Society of America Walk-A-Thon

Please join us at Spanaway Lake Park in Tacoma, WA on Saturday September 27, 2008 for an approximate 5K walk to benefit the NW Chapter of HDSA. Huntington's Disease is a hereditary neurological disorder, which causes the deterioration of certain areas of the brain. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and walk begins at 10 a.m. Its fun and easy to participate! $20 suggested registration donation. Families including dogs are welcome! We will have refreshments, prizes, a raffle, a silent auction, and memorial luminaries. The park is located just off of Pacific Ave. (Hwy. 7) at Military Rd and 152nd in Spanaway (across from Sprinker Recreation Center). Walking path is paved, wheelchair accessible, and very scenic.
