I've noticed - over time - that you [Blogland] are sort of confused when it comes to me and why I do what I do. In respects to finances that is. And I thought that since you all read so much about me, you just might enjoy reading about what I do with my money, and why I do it. And perhaps, how in the world we make do on what we do. I find it funny at times when we talk to people [in real life] and they find out a bit about how much we spend a week/month/year on something/everything they get this glazzed look and smile halfway. Inside I'm sure they're saying, "GEEZ! What's wrong with you? Go home! Get a job! Buy stuff!" But this is the way we have to live - at the moment - to do what we want to do.
So with that said, I'd like to leave the floor open. If something has you confused, curious, or otherwise, please ask. I may refuse to answer some specific questions, like how much we receive a month/year. I won't answer that, so please don't ask. But if you want to know what we spend on groceries, how we eat on that much, and what we eat, feel free to ask. Also, if you're looking for some cheap foods to make, ask away. I can give you a list of things we don't do/buy/find necessary, but that's sort of boring.

On a side note: do any of you wifies out there enjoy car shopping? Coz I don't. Stick a fork in me. I'm done. I've had it up to here (my neck) with car shopping, comparing, and mechanic checking. Bleccch! I wanna buy a car, and have it be over with. But no chance here. My husband is analytical, careful, and cautious (about this thing anyways), so when we DO get a car, it'll be awesome for great value. But in the meantime, if I see another Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, stationwagon, sedan, hatchback, or otherwise, I'll lose it. As I keep saying [and no, I'm not saying I am pregnant, just thinking of owning the car for a long time] "It's gotta fit two carseats and a stroller in it, and have 4 doors. (I refuse to crawl in the buckled kids). That's all I care about!"
