According to a pathology report, 6months ago, the levels of the iron and ferritin showed: S-Iron 3.8 mol/L & S-Ferritin 9mg/mL
I've been on a iron supplement for 6 months and the levels now:S-Iron6.8mol/L & S-Ferritin 7mg/mL
Note that: normal levels for iron must be between 9.0and30.4mol/L and ferritin between 15 and 160mg/mL.
Can anyone tell me why the iron levels went up ... but the ferritin down?
