Someone asked me about this game recently... and I found this fantastic clip tonight. Yes, I should be doing homework... but my head hurts, I'm half nutty at the moment, and damn it all if it isn't enjoyable to listen to Brady admit he fumbled the damn ball.
I admit, from the front angle it looks like an incomplete pass. But if viewed from the left side/back view, Brady's arm is DEFINITELY pulling the ball back in. Freeze the video (FROM the NFL.COM LINK) around 1:57-ish and you can see the angle of the ball, it is almost vertical. Who has ever seen a QB throw a ball from that angle? Hm. He looks quite like he just received the snap, both hands on the ball in front of his chest...
Raiders, yes, I know, they haven't been good in a while and I blame that stuffed dead man they have at the helm of the ship. BUT, it cannot be denied that this game should have gone to the boys from the bay, and I will forever hate the Pats. :)
