This is a really important story. Several things stand out for me in the study. At least 2 million more people in the United States report that they are disabled by mental health issues. That is alarming. That is past alarming. This article does not say that 2 million more people are on disability. This is self reported disability. This is there perception of themselves. It also says that a substantial part of the increase is in people who are not involved in the mental health system. A major factor in that lack of involvement is lack of access due to lack of resources.
PEOPLE ARE NOT JUST FALLING THROUGH THE CRACKS. MORE AND MORE THEY LIVE THERE.
