UPDATE: for the latest versions on said pile-o-crap, there’s an informative blog that breaks it down and explains it.(among other things)

I can’t find the post (or I’d link to it), where I remember saying “It’s called a search warrant” when talking about how we must put everyone’s health care records online or we’re all gonna die cause it’s a crisis,
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Yeah, I know it’s long (read it anyway) and seems not very well thought out in many parts; just think of it as part of it’s charm or something.
Besides all the other negative things in that manifesto I’ll explore later when I actually have time, you may want to keep your eyes open for things in it that concern you health information privacy. I’m sure no one will be discriminated against or targeted …. imagine the blackmail potential in some cases …if HIPAA is just sorta forgotten about.
