I was told by the doc who ordered the test that I received a recessive gene from both parents for refractory depression, and deplin(folate) is what he ordered. ??
According to the paper in April 2009 issue of Am J Clin Nutr, this assay might not be very helpful for determining dietary requirements of folate...
