Jane Pauley's Interview on Dateline - Reveal of her Bipolar Disorder

Jane Pauley's Interview shows that anyone even celebrities, talk show hosts, or even your best friend can have Bipolar. Some people hide it and some come out. I found that when I finally talked about it I would feel much better. (click on the Jane Pauley link to watch the video.)
Jane talks about her Hypomania and what it is. She also mentions rapid cycling, which I could relate to. I never thought about the terms until I watched the video. My mania can go way up on the sliding scale or down to the deepest swamp and that's how it feels. I hate it down there. Jane heard about how some people with bipolar have suicidal thoughts and when she felt really crazy admitted herself into the hospital. She was on suicide watch.
I had attempted suicide in the year 1997, but was able to stop myself. I still believe it was divine intervention. Since, I have only some thoughts like 'I'm so tired of this I would like to just sleep forever." However, I stop and reminded myself that I have a wonderful family.
