If you do manage to lose 18lbs in 4 days, it's going to be mostly water weight. It is not possible for the body to burn 18lbs of adipose (fatty) tissue in 4 days and be healthy. Weight loss this drastic will 99.9% of the time come back (yo-yo dieting).
Healthy weight loss is 1-2lbs a week, 3 at the most. At the beginning of your weightloss/workout program you will notice a greater loss. This is due to water weight and the neat fact that the first bits of weight come off the easiest :) Weight loss then becomes harder as your body adjusts to the new diet and exercise routine.
Fad diets and stuff you can find on the internet that promise drastic results most often will not provide weight loss that lasts. Cutting back calories too far and starving your body can mess with your metabolism, and actually make it harder for your body to lose weight.
The best advice I can give you is do try to lose weight the old fashioned way, through hard works, lots of sweat and exercise, and a good well balanced healthy diet. Several years ago I had tried to starvation plans and diet pills and all osrts of extreme measures to lose the weight. It took me about a year of this yo-yo business before I setteled in a new healthy routine, better living habits that I have stuck with, and the 30 lbs I shed have stayed off :) I wish you luck in your weight loss journey!
