Improving the mental health system/ The advocacy page for Hopeworks Community
Posted Oct 13 2010 11:11am
The whole question of AOT (assisted outpatient treatment) has gotten far bigger than I ever anticipated. I had anticipated one or two posts and going on to other things. It has taken on a life off its own and in terms of advocacy has become a prime focus on me. To help keep focus for me I have created a new page for Hopeworks Community (really I guess a new site) that will become the home for the campaign about AOT. It offers a lot more chance for interaction with readers and I hope you will take advantage of it. You can access it through the link at the bottom of this page or through (http://improvingthementalhealthsystem.wordpress.com). In time it will deal with many more subjects, but right now the focus will be on the question of AOT in Tennessee. For those of you whom this is a topic of concern and interest I hope you will visit this new page often. I look forward to your comments.
There is a new post on this site I hope you will take a look at: “AOT: even if they are right they are wrong” Check it out. You will also find several of the other AOT posts copied to this site.
