My hematologist recently mentioned that my high WBC may be due to my antibodies attacking my thyroid. We are running a test to find out if thats what it is. He checked out the connection between lithium and my low thyroid function and came up with the thyroid antibody test. Just wondering how common this is and why lithium starts this reaction.
