Nuts is a story about the insanity of commitment. It says we are more than the picture painted, the name called. We are not to be decided for. We are to decide. It shows the violence of the commitment process and the horrors done to people in the name of medicine and justice. It says we can be responsible, should be responsible, and are responsible. It says I am not helped by having everything important to me ignored. It says I have a voice. And it says you help little if you do not hear.
